ABOUT

"Arthur J. Dibden, president of Johnson State College from 1967 to 1969, died while serving in office. This building, the College's performing arts center, was named in his memory when construction was completed in 1971." Plaque Dedication, pictured to the right.

Dibden Center for the Arts is located atop the hills of the Northern Vermont University college campus in Johnson Vermont. Dibden is the host of performances both within the campus community, and the Lamoille County Community. During the academic year, Dibden is where the performative arts take place through classes, clubs, and companies offered through Northern Vermont University. Dibden is where the annual performances of the beloved clubs and companies of the campus take place, but is also where other community events come to perform. With concerts, dance recitals, and many other performances, Dibden is full of life all year long!
